Anti-Spam Policy

Rules for responsible email and messaging from AlpineLayer infrastructure.

Version 1.0Last updated 2 September 2026English

1. Permission-based messaging

Bulk or commercial email must have an appropriate lawful basis and recipient permission where required. Purchased, scraped and harvested mailing lists are prohibited.

2. Sender identity

Messages must accurately identify the sender and must not use materially deceptive routing, content or subject lines.

3. Unsubscribe

Commercial messages must provide a functioning opt-out mechanism where required, and opt-out requests must be honored within the legally applicable timeframe.

4. Technical standards

  • Use SPF, DKIM and DMARC for legitimate sending domains where appropriate.
  • Maintain valid reverse DNS when directly sending mail.
  • Process bounces and complaints.
  • Do not operate open relays.
  • Maintain reasonable sending rates and recipient quality.

5. Outbound SMTP

AlpineLayer may restrict outbound port 25 on new or high-risk cloud accounts and require verification before enabling direct delivery. Authenticated third-party mail relays may be used where permitted.

6. Enforcement

AlpineLayer may rate-limit, block sending, suspend resources or terminate service where spam or reputation damage continues.
