1. Auto-renewal
Customers may enable or disable automatic renewal where supported and are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method and reviewing domain status.
2. Notices
AlpineLayer will send renewal or expiration notices required by applicable registrar or registry rules and may send additional reminders. Email delivery cannot be guaranteed, so customers should monitor the portal.
3. Expiration
If a domain is not renewed in time, DNS and associated services may stop. Grace, redemption and deletion periods vary by TLD. Recovery after expiration is not guaranteed.
4. Fees
Renewal and redemption fees may differ from initial registration and may change when registrar or registry pricing changes.
5. Critical domains
Business-critical domains should use auto-renewal, current contacts and valid payment methods, and should be monitored well before expiration.
